On July 5, 2007, Mr Christian Masset, Deputy head of French representation to the EU, was the special guest of the ESSEC Alumni Chapter Belgium for the Centenary celebration event.
The event took place in the auditorium of the SAS Radisson EU hotel, close to the European Parliament. The event therefore celebrated both the centenary of our school and the European belonging of the ESSEC alumni community. Mr Masset delivered a very lively, accessible and structured speech addressing the 'hot topics' of the EU, including the new treaty, common policies and the upcoming challenges that the EU will have to face in the next 10 to 15 years. Enthusiastic questions and reactions were shared by the audience after the speech, followed by the ESSEC Centenary celebration and the symbolic blowing of the ESSEC - 100 years candle. A friendly drink closed the evening.
