To mark the Centenary of ESSEC, the ESSEC Master’s Association staged a special evening at the French Senate on the theme of “The Transition from Environmental Responsibility to Action”.
The Association brought together for the event distinguished representatives of the worlds of business and politics, as well as ESSEC itself, for debate on a number of environmental issues.
The aims of the program of discussion were:
- to bring together various points of view,
- to identify environmental initiatives within businesses, politics, socio-professional organizations and local authorities
- to assess the necessary changes to current economic models
- to reconcile a business school education with the needs of the market
Great support for this project was offered by a number of major companies (HSBC, Vallourec, Fondation Total, VEOLIA, MACIF), consultancy firms renowned for their work in the environment sector (BBDO, Becitizen), and political figures (Philippe Goujon, Françoise de Panafieu).
