After the success of the first edition of this exhibition, it was decide to renew the exercise in conjunction with ESSEC's Centenary. The concept behind this year's exhibition was to transform a room into a photographic studio and to represent the respective ESSEC MBA, EPSCI, IHMI and Master's associations via pictures characterizing the dynamism and diversity of the student body. Student response was impressive, with 40 associations attending the photo shoot over the course of a week in the "Noir sur Blanc" improvised studio. The photos were then put up on display in the main hall.
Then in January, a further week of photography in the studio was organized, with this time 55 associations attending shoots on the theme "Your association 100 years ago or in 100 years' time". Members of administration and the personnel of the School also took part.
After many hours of painstaking work in the laboratory, the photos were put on display for the late-February Inter-association Week, with each association represented via a color picture and a black-and-white shot. More than 120 pictures comprised the exhibition!
The top three photos, of the Label Sauce, Polo Marco and Club Aviron associations, were awarded prizes at a private viewing of the exhibition. In addition, all those present joined in a Centenary Special photograph.
The crowning moment of the exhibition, however, will come on June 2, when all the association photos will be displayed at the Carrousel du Louvre on the occasion of the Centenary Gala Evening!!
